Philip Newton

Managing Director

Philip Newton is the Managing Director of LNT Solutions and has been an integral part of the business for more than 20 years. During his time with the company, he has played a significant role in the company’s growth and success, helping to establish LNT Solutions as a trusted provider of innovative weather protection and de-icing technologies for the rail and aviation sectors.

Drawing on extensive experience across both industries, Philip has developed a deep understanding of the operational challenges faced by transport operators and infrastructure owners. For the past decade, he has served as Account Manager for many of LNT Solutions’ key customers, building strong, long-term relationships based on trust, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

In addition to managing strategic customer accounts, Philip has led relationships with a number of the UK’s commercial and military airports, working closely with stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance safety, improve operational resilience, and minimise disruption during adverse weather conditions. His hands-on experience within the aviation sector, combined with his knowledge of rail operations, gives him a unique perspective on the critical role that weather protection solutions play in keeping passengers, staff, and assets safe.

 In his role as Managing Director, Philip is responsible for the strategic leadership of the business, driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring the company continues to deliver industry-leading solutions that help customers operate safely and efficiently in challenging weather conditions. In his spare time, Philip is an avid Cricket player, coach and supporter, playing for his local team, coaching a youth group and regularly attending matches in the Yorkshire area.

Hannah Allen

Commercial Director

Hannah Allen joined LNT Solutions as Commercial Director in July 2026, bringing extensive industry knowledge and a strong reputation within the UK aviation sector. Recognised for her collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to customer success, Hannah has built trusted relationships with airports across the UK, becoming a valued partner to airfield operations teams and stakeholders responsible for winter resilience and safety.

Having spent the previous three years working within the de-icing industry, Hannah has supported more than 20 UK airports with the planning, implementation, and optimisation of runway de-icing operations. Her ability to combine technical knowledge with a practical understanding of operational challenges has earned her the confidence of customers who rely on her advice, responsiveness, and attention to detail when making critical operational decisions during adverse weather conditions.

Committed to advancing industry best practice, Hannah is an active member of the SAE G-12 Committee and participates in the Runway De-icing Working Group, contributing to the development of industry standards and guidance. She also regularly attends industry conferences, technical forums, and networking events, ensuring she remains at the forefront of developments in winter operations and airport resilience.

Further demonstrating her leadership within the sector, Hannah is a member of the steering group for the 2027 SWIFT Conference, helping to identify the key issues facing airfield operators and shape the event programme. Working alongside industry experts and stakeholders, she contributes subject matter expertise, supports speaker selection, and helps facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice across the aviation community.

As Commercial Director, Hannah is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, and ensuring LNT Solutions continues to deliver the best products, on time and in full. Her combination of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and genuine commitment to customer relationships makes her a trusted advisor to airports and a key member of the LNT Solutions leadership team.

In her spare time, Hannah is a School Governor and is often found with a book in hand.

Gareth Wilson

Finance Director

Gareth Wilson is the Finance Director of LNT Solutions, where he plays a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, supporting operational performance, and enabling long-term sustainable growth. As a board member and part of the senior leadership team, Gareth works closely with colleagues across the business to ensure LNT Solutions continues to invest in innovation, strengthen customer relationships, and delivers reliable, innovative, quality products to the rail and aviation sectors.

With more than 20 years of experience in finance, governance, and operational leadership, Gareth brings a wealth of expertise to the business. Since joining the LNT Group, he has held a variety of senior roles, developed a deep understanding of the Group’s businesses and contributing to a number of strategic initiatives which have also been implemented at Solutions.

His background includes senior leadership roles in major organisations such as Nisa Retail and British Steel, where he gained valuable experience managing complex financial and operational challenges. Combined with his experience supporting growing businesses and entrepreneurial ventures working with James Caan (of Dragon Den fame), this gives Gareth a unique perspective on balancing financial discipline with innovation and investment.

Gareth is passionate about creating a strong platform for future success, ensuring that LNT Solutions remains financially robust while continuing to develop cutting-edge technologies that help customers improve safety, resilience, and operational performance. In his spare time, Gareth is an avid chess player with a highly impressive score of 1600, placing him in the top 3% of active players.

Donna Wormald

Customer Services Manager

Donna Wormald has been a valued member of the LNT Solutions team for over 16 years and is widely regarded as one of the cornerstones of the business. With a deep understanding of the company’s operations, products, and customers, Donna plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation while delivering the exceptional service standards that LNT Solutions is known for.

As Customer Services Manager, Donna is responsible for overseeing a wide range of operational activities, including administration, order processing, customer support, and the coordination of product deliveries and raw material supplies. Working across multiple departments, she ensures that customers receive a seamless and efficient service, supporting the timely manufacture and delivery of products to customers across the rail and aviation sectors. Donna’s role has evolved to include greater commercial responsibility as Account Manager for two of LNT Solutions’ winter operations product lines, where she works closely with customers to understand their operational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure they receive maximum value from LNT’s products and services.

Throughout her career with LNT Solutions, Donna has built strong and lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues alike. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to customer satisfaction have earned her a reputation as a trusted and reliable point of contact for many of the company’s key customers. Her ability to understand customer requirements and proactively resolve challenges helps ensure the highest levels of service and operational performance are consistently maintained.

Kelvin Williamson

President of LNT Solutions Inc (Canada)

Kelvin Williamson is President of LNT Solutions Canada and has dedicated more than 46 years to the aviation industry, including a combined 13 years with LNT Solutions and over 23 years as a pilot, accumulating nearly 7,000 flight hours. Widely respected throughout the North American aviation community, Kelvin has built an outstanding reputation for technical expertise, operational leadership, and an unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

His distinguished career began with several commercial airlines before progressing to the role of Chief Pilot at Voyager Airways. He subsequently joined Transport Canada, where he served for a decade as a Boeing 737 Check Pilot and Air Carrier Inspector, gaining extensive experience in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and airline operations. Returning to commercial flying, Kelvin captained Boeing 727 aircraft for All Canadian Express, further strengthening his operational expertise.

Kelvin later transitioned into airport operations and winter maintenance, holding senior leadership roles including General Manager of the Toronto Central De-icing Facility and leading de-icing operations at Toronto Pearson International Airport (GTAA). Managing one of North America’s most complex de-icing programmes, he worked closely with airlines, airport authorities, regulators, and operational teams to ensure safe, efficient, and resilient operations during severe winter conditions.

Kelvin currently serves on the Board of the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE), is an active SAE International member, and previously chaired the SAE De-icing Facilities Committee for 27 years, contributing significantly to the advancement of industry standards and best practices.

As President of LNT Solutions Canada, Kelvin is leading the company’s growth across the Canadian market, helping airports and airlines implement innovative de-icing and weather protection technologies that enhance safety, operational efficiency, and environmental performance. Passionate about supporting the aviation industry, he works closely with customers to understand their challenges and deliver solutions that provide measurable operational improvements.

Outside of work, Kelvin enjoys spending time with his family at the lakeside cabin he built himself, making the most of Canada’s natural landscape and outdoor lifestyle.

Konrad Schwoch

Operations Director

Konrad Schwoch serves as Operations Director at LNT Solutions, bringing more than 30 years of technical, manufacturing, and operational experience to the business. Throughout his career, he has held a diverse range of leadership roles across manufacturing operations, laboratory management, product development, and technical services, building a comprehensive understanding of the processes and people required to deliver high-quality products at scale.

Konrad is responsible for overseeing manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency. He ensures that every product delivered to customers meets the exacting standards for reliability, consistency, and performance that LNT Solutions is known for.

Konrad’s extensive technical expertise gives him a unique ability to bridge the gap between product development and manufacturing operations. Working closely with colleagues across the business, he helps ensure that innovative solutions can be successfully translated into robust, scalable production processes while maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance. His practical approach and attention to detail have been instrumental in supporting the development and delivery of products that perform reliably in some of the most demanding operational environments. A strong advocate of continuous improvement, Konrad is committed to enhancing manufacturing processes, optimising operational performance, and driving efficiencies throughout the business.

In his spare time, Konrad is kept busy with home renovations and solving Rubik cubes.
